Ingredients
1/2 cup mash dal/urad dal
2 large onion chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
5-6 green chilies
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp red chili crushed
1/2 tsp coriander pwd.
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
chopped coriander
chopped ginger
and
oil
Procedure
- Soak the dal for half n hour and then boil it
- In wok pan add oil, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and boiled dal
- Fry it for 1-2 min. then add all the spices and half of the chopped green chilies
- Let the dal roast for few min. then add chopped onion and cover it for few minutes or until the onion get little softer
- Now add chopped tomatoes and fry the dal on medium flame
- Add the chopped coriander, green chilies and serve
