Custard Powder Ice Cream

2 cups milk (separate 3 tbsp for making mixture)
2 tbsp cream
4-5 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp custard powder
  • In sauce pan add milk and sugar and let it boil
  • Meanwhile make a mixture of custard powder and milk
  • When milk started boiling add in the custard mixture by continuously stirring
  • Let it cool then add in cream and mix it with hand mixture or in blender for 1 min.
  • Put it in freezer for 1 hour
  • After 1 hour take it out and again mix it for 1 min and put in freezer for an hour
  • Do this step several times as it stops crystal formation and will give it a creamy texture
  • After enough mixing put it in freezer for 5-6 hours
  • Your custard ice cream is ready
